CCSSI March Topic Mapping for Math

Three Topic Maps are presented here.

  1. The first is the CCSSI's map of topics intended in the Common Core State Standards Initiative March draft.
  2. The second is a map of mathematics topics intended at each grade y at least two-thirds of the A+ countries.
  3. The third is the U.S. Coalitions for World Class Math's map of the Common Core State Standards March draft mathematics topics at each grade level. This maps the same standards as the first map.
The CCSS's map shows some evident unnecessary acceleration and some unnecessary slowing down or delay of topics in comparison with A+ countries.
